This article provides an overview of the ITIL process Evaluation.
Evaluation determines the performance of a change, and whether to proceed with it. It uses the plan-do-check-act principles, and is also the area behind ‘continue / pivot / stop’. It uses risk and information management to understand whether the change is on track or needs to be guided back to the original requirements.
